With seven years of experience in post-production, Catherine serves as a Video Editor and Post-Production Supervisor at the University of Michigan’s Duderstadt Center Video Studio. There, she built the studio’s post-production program from the ground up and now leads a team of five editors and post specialists, overseeing editorial, color, and sound workflows to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet rigorous creative and technical standards.
Her portfolio spans music videos, dance films, short- and long-form narrative projects, single- and multi-person interviews, and high-profile product launch and unveiling videos. Equally comfortable shaping story in the edit suite or managing complex post schedules, she blends creative instinct with operational precision. In addition to supervising day-to-day workflows, she has led the studio’s transition to a more robust, industry-standard media storage infrastructure, strengthening collaboration, scalability, and long-term post-production capacity. She works fluently in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and DaVinci Resolve.
A classically trained harpist and former Artistic Coordinator for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Catherine brings a musician’s sense of rhythm and a logistics-informed collaborative mindset to every project. Her performing arts background informs her editorial pacing, attention to detail, and leadership style, fostering post-production environments that are disciplined yet creatively dynamic.
